If the Seahawks released Matt Hasselback should the Skins make a run at signing him?

To me, if JC flounders or does not show progression in '09 his butt is gone. Statwise, with the exception of the TD/INT ratio, he is just above Gus Frerotte level, and unfortuantely as much as I liked Gus back in the day, he never really made a progression either.

A mentor in this offense certainly wouldn't hurt. Although it's probably a year too late.
