40 lbs in 6 weeks is nuts...but I guess when you have excess weight and are in an NFL training camp, it just melts off. I hope he makes an impact this season...he deserves it for the effort he's put into this.

I wish that I could lose 40 lbs in a year!

Re: Offensive Line in the Offseason
If you go to the new news in the upper right corner and look at Zorn's comments they discuss Williams and have a photo. He looks better then this photo. His arms are huge.

Re: Offensive Line in the Offseason
Check out the presser with big Mike Williams on redskins.com, hard to not be rooting for the guy.

I would say they probably have Randy for this season and than next - his release fee prohibits him from being cut this year and is $6.1 million in 2010 but drops off to $4.3 in 2011 - so 2011 I think Thomas is gone unless he has a major career ending injury before then. I really think the skins got a steal with Bridges and I would not be surprised that he plays one of the guard positions as injuries are bound to happen this year. |

Re: Offensive Line in the Offseason
Dammit! Articles like this convince me every August that the Skins are going to dominate! As hard I as try to fight it, I can't help the training camp optimism! On a serious note, Williams could be a force on that line, and Samuels should be more healthy and less injury prone. We're still weak at center though, and it's the only position on the line where we seem to have little depth.

Re: Offensive Line in the Offseason
If this line improves and becomes pretty good, i think everyone is going to Arizona next year.
