Offensive Line in the Offseason
Some folks have mentioned this in other threads about the O-Linemen working out together in AZ. I liked what I read in this article: Mike Williams' drive to slim down to 342 lbs, seeing the linemen working out together, and most importantly seeing that the line has a chip on their shoulder about last season. I hope to see some major improvements during training camp from this unit, and for some of the new additions (MW, Bridges) and young players (Heyer, Rinehart) to step things up.

awesome awesome awesome...finally some good news on the offensive line part. Great to know that these guys are giving it their all to be health and contribute all year on the field. Keeping my fingers crossed that they aren't too burned out though...

Re: Offensive Line in the Offseason
Like everyone else said - Very Promising. I'm especially interested in what Mike Williams can do seeing as he was the 4th overall pick not long ago. Wouldn't it be awesome if turns out to be a steal?

Re: Offensive Line in the Offseason
Great article. I saw Samuels on comcast a few weeks back at his youth camp & they talked about his weight. He looked very fit & athletic for 300+.
L Michaels also mentioned on comcast last night that rinehart has "transformed" his body & is ready to go. Between Rinehart & Bridges, Thomas' spot at rg might not be safe. I didn't realize the sack totals were so high last year. A more agile line should help. |

Re: Offensive Line in the Offseason
Would love to see Reinhart step up and take a starting role at some point this season. He reminds me of one of "hogs" of old...a la Stinky Schlereth. Hopefully Buges can find a diamond in the rough here.

Re: Offensive Line in the Offseason
That woud be great, but next year is really when he should be starting. Thomas might be cut by then & it will be rino's 3rd year. If he starts this year that's awesome, but I would expect Bridges to take the rg spot before him. I love Randy Thomas, hope he can return to form, but it sounds like the injuries & age are catching up to him.

Re: Offensive Line in the Offseason
Does anyone know why Randy didn't participate in AZ and what his current status is (neck)? I ask because he's been such a leader of the group and would expect him to be right there in the thick of it...also a guy I would luv to see rebound this season
