We should do the same. We should only trade for established players if they are the missing piece, not to fill random holes.

For example, I believe the Vikings traded some pretty premium draft picks for Jared Allen... But they already had a solid defensive line that was lacking the pass-rushing monster.

If we had a solid offensive line and just needed a LT, I'd be all for it. But that's not the case here.
