You and I both know calling out your boss to his peers or his superiors will rarely go well. While it is may be the entertaining and the jusified choice, He'll be looking for a new position either way. And the PC BS that corporate America indulges in makes it hard to shake the label of "NON-team player".

How you are perceived and treated depends on what kind of a man you show yourself to be. I don't take shit from no one and they know this from the moment they deal me. You should never have to call out your boss but if you have to the worst that could happen is you might have to leave job or transfer to another group. If your boss is a prick everyone probably already knows so you're really not losing stature by standing up to him.
