Fact is that even though Denver screwed the pooch, Denver gave themselves a better chance to improve their team beyond just getting Bailey. We got Portis, but denyed ourselves the ability to have a chance to help our team in addition to Portis.

Is it that hard to just say the 2nd rounder didn't work out for them?
