Jon Ritchie gives a emotional breakdown of his relationship with Sandusky and even says that knowing Sandusky the way he did, he probably would have reacted the same way as McQueary initially due to the shock factor.

He then goes on to say that once it sunk it, that's when he would have taken it to the proper authorities or at least followed up once his superiors did nothing.

And to me, that's where McQueary f'ed up. Yes - we all like to think we would have kicked the sh** out Sandusky. I certainly hope I would have - but, as SCP said, walking in on something so shocking, I just don't know what I would have done. I may have been stunned into inaction for some short time - maybe even a long time. At some point within the next 24 hours, though, the police AND Paterno would have been notified. And, at 28, I guarantee that I would not have had to call Dad first.

McQueary was dead wrong. I can see that right now, right this instant and for any number of reasons it might not be prudent for the school or the police to bust his balls, but, eventually, I hope he gets a full dose of justice.
