Laron Landry - Redskin for life?

Low, unless no one else wants to roll the dice on his Achilles and he comes back cheaper just to stay in the league.

The Jets, Bears, Lions are interested from what I've heard. Philly was but seems to have bowed out.


Right now, we have one FS and one SS on the roster under contract. DeJon Gomes and Reed Doughty.

I expect we'll move Kevin Barnes to FS, probably more out of necessity than preference but he did play great there when he had to fill in.


We're bringing Brandon Meriweather (nothing special) in for a visit but right now we basically have no depth at safety.

I like Gomes, he played well last year and Barnes is better at safety than CB. Doughty, he's basically a body on the field. Occasionally makes good plays but they get canceled out. Seems like we can't get rid of him.
