08 and 09 Landry fell off when they tried to move him to FS and he struggled to adjust, mainly because he's not a guy you can trust in space. But when Haslett joined the Skins with Shanny in 2010, the first half of 2010 saw Landry moved back to SS where he once again started balling his ass off before he got injured, and ever since then he's never been the same player.

He definitely has the potential to be a playmaker in this defense, all we have to do is put him in a position to succeed (aka in the box SS), minimize how often he gets left alone in coverage, and make sure that he's completely healthy.

The Laron Landry that I saw play for the last 4 seasons in Washington was terrible in coverage and was beaten deep far too often. He would make one or two highlight reel hits but also give up a TD or two and a bunch of first down catches per game.

That is not my definition of a guy "balling his ass off"...
