So to clarify, he did not specifically turn down just the Colts. |

Beat me to it. But yeah that's what it is. Confirmed it with Baylor just now

This is slightly curious. Since it's pretty clear he's coming here (forget Wilbon, he is just backing up what his boy McBust said and is equally bitter) I wonder why he didn't want to come in and do a private workout with the Redskins. I guess it really doesn't matter at the end of the day.

I think you're reading too far into it. In all his interviews Griffin has stated his desire to go first overall. Does that mean he'll be angry if he falls to us? Probably not, but I'm sure he knows the odds are against the Colts taking him with the way things have happened.

I retract my "pulled out of thin air" statement made to SBVIII then. Kind of odd he decided no private workouts with any teams.

Luck to Indy, RG3 to the Skins. The Skins were sold the moment they traded up. What's the point in wasting everyone's time in working him out. |

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Redskins never requested -- and will not request -- a private workout with RG3, feeling they saw what they needed at his pro day.
