I just figured you were all about contract extensions for the whole staff. Whether or not that will happen, continuity, man!
But seriously the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
when is the last time we traded so much to move up to draft our franchise qb? do we keep doing that over and over?

The season results say otherwise.

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
It's a real problem for the Shanny believers. (I don't say apologists anymore because they don't like it.)
Going into the season the story was "Well we've spent plenty of treasure on defense through FA and some draft and lots on WR, now we have our QB and should see a nearly complete, competitive team." Now the defense is garbage, so evidently all the FA signings were a waste. Some are now saying the WR corp wasn't ever supposed to be complete and we'll draft/sign more next year. In politics, I believe it's called the bait and switch. It's the story of Shanny's career since John hung up his jersey.

I think we need help in the secondary, otherwise I think our bigger issue is we need our guys healthy and continuing to develop. And Haslett's lost the locker room

Smoot in your opinion what do you see us doing in the draft and free agency? Also, what is your thoughts on what happens with Shannahan?

I think as long as he wants to stay Shanahan will stay. Think there'll be significant changes with the coaching staff though.

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
whattttt, thats pretty bad. Kinda heard through Keim article that certain guys in the secondary didnt like playing certain coverages at certain times ie. Hall last year and Wilson this year and were complaining. Kinda surprised to hear he's lost the locker room, id like to hear what Fletcher would say to that.

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
because we all know judging a QB by is rookie season is a great idea. peyton manning was 3-13. they should have fired everyone. instead they didn't, went 13-3 and made the playoffs. what insane moronic clueless idiots. If only they had someone like you to show them the way.

What? This isn't a trade Griffin thread. This is about addressing proven issues.

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
Well A) it wasn't no play calls from the coach. He did get a few calls in and B) even that is kind of scripted. Every week the team practices two minute drills and practices RG3 not having his headset working and they have various scenarios set up.
This isn't to take anything away from RG3 on that drive. It was outstanding. But they were well prepared for that

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
I don't think the locker room is lost. I credit that to guys like RG3 and Fletcher. But I can't imagine that there aren't guys like D. Hall who are like, "F it."
