You do see the logical flaw in arguing that Shanahan/Allen acted in 2010 the way they did because they had no choice, and then not holding them accountable for the cap penalty, right?

Even if you believe that the NFL jumped its authority with the cap penalty, as I do, you still can't put it on anyone but the current regime. This could/would have been a past issue in 2010 if left to organic means.

Vinny's influence on the 2011 Redskins was less than 1/2 a percent. At this point, he's a completely negligible character in the teams current situation.
