What about you guys? If you didn't have to work for any reason, where would you end up?

I lived in Hilton Head for a year like that, it did get boring. Sorry.

No worries. I'd figure to play golf, snorkel, sail, hold up the corner of a tiki bar, you know the basics. I'd probably get bored, but then remember what it was like before, and quickly go invade hoo's private island

Re: Where would you go?

First I would buy a House on 10th street which is my Favorite cove in Laguna Beach. Then I would buy a house on the coast in Big Sur. After that I would build a big house in Coffs Harbor Australia out towards the big Banana. I would also buy back my Grandparents house behind Mount Vernon next to the Potomac so that I could stay there when I fly back to Virginia for Redskins games and Christmas. I would have to get family to live in and take care of them because I would be out globe trotting with beautiful women like Dr.Buss does majority of the time. I think that would about do it.
That reminds me I need to go buy a lotto ticket.

THANX SS for the tip! I'm feeling REAL good about the Lotto on Saturday. This should save me some leg work to find my island.

See this bar? My friend owns it. I would be in that white plastic chair.

I want a private beach...I would never put shoes on again. I'd like to say Hawaii for the simple fact that it can be very secluded and I can embrace the culture. However, it is so public (very rare to have a private beach there) that it might be impossible.
Grand Cayman Island has some spots that are extremely secluded, and I loved playing with those sting rays...they are like giant dogs, but do I really want to be under British rule?
That leaves St. Thomas or St. John. St. Thomas is more popular, so St. John would be the better answer, but there is nothing there but the island. You don't have decent dining or anything like that. Then again, I suppose I can drive my yacht over to St. Thomas to dine. hehe. Plus, Kenny Chesney has a place on St. John, and he lives my kind of lifestyle. No shoes, no shirt, no problem.

I really liked Hawai'i (the big island), tazmania, and milwaukee... still a fan of Northern VA too though, and san jose wasn't bad.

Gotta love Hawaii cause if you get sick of the seclusion, you can go to Honolulu to get what you need.

Is the grand strand hawaii? If it is, that's the first time I heard that.
