Props to Doughty

yeah, good on him... he still lost his job today imo.

horton's played for walker at UCLA, so its a good solid NFL defensive system he's coming from, and the playmaking he showed in preseason carried over.

while some of those ints and the recovery looked like they might be luck, i was watching him and he seemed to ALWAYS be around the ball, even when he wasn't the one making the tackle, so, you know, sometimes you make your own luck. definitely deserves an encore...

Great points. Horton was just always around the ball, a very good trait for a safety to have. Doughty is a solid guy, and having him and Horton back there gives us options.

I don't hate one and love the other. I don't understand the animosity towards Doughty. They're both Redskins and I'm glad we have them.

I think out of everyone on this page i have been the hardest on reed doughty, but i would like to say some things about this guy. He is a tough guy and full of heart, he may not be sean, but i respect the aspects of his character immensely and i know he is always been praised as being one o the hardest working and classiest guys on the redskins...a guy who completely understands what it is like to be on a team and to work for the greater good. I wish more of us could have that outlook and ability to work for something in such a respectable way. He may not be the best athlete, and maybe not even a starter, but make no doubts the man belongs on our team and i wouldnt have it any other way.
