Props to Doughty
Horton said in his post game interview that Reed called him early in the morning to let him know he was sick. He then told Horton that he really believed in him. First off it's great that Reed let him know as soon as possible and then to show that kind of support to a young guy. That is called being a great teammate. It's so important to have players like that on the team.

Re: Props to Doughty
Good story. I say to many people around here play Madden when it comes to the roster. Many don't realize the fact that the culture that players provide are a big part of a teams success. And having a guy like Doughty can't hurt.

Re: Props to Doughty
He's one of our classy players and the man can play, he has some short comings but I'm glad he's on our team.

Re: Props to Doughty
For all the crap he gets on this board, Doughty is a solid, if unspectacular, player who can play in this league and, at the same time, is a good, classy guy.

Fair enough. I hope Tony Romo catches a bad case of the clap.

Re: Props to Doughty
yeah, good on him... he still lost his job today imo.
horton's played for walker at UCLA, so its a good solid NFL defensive system he's coming from, and the playmaking he showed in preseason carried over. while some of those ints and the recovery looked like they might be luck, i was watching him and he seemed to ALWAYS be around the ball, even when he wasn't the one making the tackle, so, you know, sometimes you make your own luck. definitely deserves an encore... |
