1. Rak is really thriving in this defense
2. Good to see another WR actually catch a ball besides Moss
3. Landry is all over the place
4. Gano for the winning kick

Rak, Landry and Armstrong for that nasty grab.

Gano
Armstrong
Sellers
Orakpo
McIntosh
Hunter Smith
Moss
Cooley
Banks

Negatives:

Too many penalties on special teams and still can't stop the run up the middle.

Landry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!

McNabb seems to be enjoying being a Skin. I like that!

Hunter is as good as we all knew he would be.

Gotta applaud the D today. I really expected Rogers to slice us to shreds.

Negative: Still bringing games into late 4th and OT but.... WE WON!!!

Armstrong...we all hoped that someone would rise to the occasion to fortify our receiver corps, and he stepped up.

Jeremy Jarmon, a spot duty beast.

Armstrong seems to be settling in and McNabb is looking his way more. He had some big plays out there today, great to see.

He's becoming what DT should have been, you can call it even it out.

Re: Redskins vs. Packers - POSITIVES!!

Phillip Daniels seemed to have a few big plays for us today. Just a name that no one mentioned. I thought our run defense was pretty effective outside of the one crappy missed gap (I'm looking at you Rocky) early on.

Re: Redskins vs. Packers - POSITIVES!!

Oh and forgetting scheme and execution for a moment, one thing our defense does do week in and week out is play physical. We are definitely a physical team right now. I think that has been a huge thing keeping us in games when we're getting outplayed in other ways.

How about Banks? You just know he's going to break one for a score sooner or later.

Very true. If we stop getting penalties on every damn kick/punt return he'll break more than one. The penalties on teams seem to happen each week. Way too much. But back the positive he looked good back there again. Played smart too.

I thought the same thing. I didn't cringe this game waiting for a fumble... this time I was just waiting for him to break one.

Re: Redskins vs. Packers - POSITIVES!!

Can't believe nobody has mentioned One Man Gang aka Lorenzo Alexander! dude was all over the place, in the backfield & on the goal line stop in pass coverage.

other than him:
-30
-Orakpo
-Dmac was spotty and missed on a couple easy ones but he got it done when it counted
-D Hall and Carlos shut it down
-Moss, AA and Cooley
-Banks, Hunter The one and only Punter, Gano and Sellers were studs on Special Teams
