Re: Redskins v/s Eagles Predictions

Let me state the obvious here. If we can't beat the eagles, our season is Officially over ( I already think we're done but the door isn't "fully" closed yet). The eagles have NO Oline whatsoever. They have no left or right tackle. No center. If Kerrigan can't get pressure on their ROOKIE QB, he may as well be added to the list of replaceable guys. Same for JJ Bowen and cofield. Expect a lot of quick passes. Tackling is going to be key on those quick desean Maclin avant slants. The eagles have good pass rushers so expect a lot of Alfred Morris up the middle. It's still going to be close since there isn't much film of foles. So he'll make some plays early on and eagles are going to be fighting since there's pressure on them and Andy.

I expect Kerrigan to get at least 2 sacks and for our front 7 to dominate against a terrible Oline. If we honestly can't get to foles consistently we have absolutely no reason to keep Hasleet and i would not be sad if we traded or released anyone from our defense. But our starters should be able to do well against an eagles oline that has I believe 3 out of the 5 Olinemen starters out for this game.

I thought one of their DL/run stoppers injured his arm or shoulder during the Dallas game? I'm hoping he doesn't play and our run game shows up with a vengence.

Redskins 27
Eagles 21

Our offense struggles early but gets there stuff together in the second half. If we cant beat one of if not the most disfunctional teams in the NFL we need to fire some people. Still I feel like RG3 will make one or two plays that decides the game even if he ends up being misused

Re: Redskins v/s Eagles Predictions

Skins win.

I always figure we will split the division against the other rivals, at the beginning of the year I thought we would beat Dallas twice now I'm at about 50/50 that happens. However the Eagles are another story. I was worried about them at the beginning of the season, now not so much.

Out of the 7 games left I could see us going 9-7 but that is a lot of work and luck. I think we can beat the Eagles twice, Dallas twice, Browns, and for the split of the division we beat the Giants at home. Our loss would be to the Ravens.

but I could also see us being 6-10, beating the Eagles twice, and Dallas once, and losing the rest. So who knows.

You may want to reconsider that line of thinking. Skins are 19-42 against the division since 2002. In fact, the Skins are significantly better against non-divisional foes (49-59 in that time). I've made the point before that this is an indication of apathy among the players, as the difference between those numbers shows that the Skins don't step it up against rivals (to which I was accused of looking too much into statistics...)

That being said, because this is a divisional game, the Redskins are far more likely to lose.

Eagles - 20

Redskins - 17 + another ridiculous Shanahan presser, for whatever thats worth. I doubt it puts us over the top though.

Re: Redskins v/s Eagles Predictions

SOMEONE HACKED MY ACCOUNT!!!!

I clearly wrote:
Skins 42
Eagles 20
as our Redzone offense flies higher than the eagles.

Matty/SS my account was hacked I swear! I would never ever have put a prediction out that went against the unlimited wisdom and knowledge of our most worthy Mods. I hope that he(or she) that hacked my account shall be found and hung by his thumbs off the FG Post during the first quarter of our most excellent victory over the lowly eagles this coming Sunday.

Brandon Merriweather + "Crazed dogs D" = Redskins win

My math is on point.

Nick Foles and Eagles keep passing game simple, and stick to quick three step drops and get ball into Jackson's, Maclin's and McCoy's hands and let them make plays with there speed. This will keep him from making the big mistake, and take advantage of our Swiss cheese secondary.

Our offense should be able to move the ball on them, as long as guys don't drop passes all day.

Eagles:27
Skins: 24

The Eagles are wounded right now...more than us.

We'll go in for the kill.

Reid's forced retirement will happen soon after this one.

Re: Redskins v/s Eagles Predictions

Skins have lost the last several games against rookie QB's and I expect nothing to change here. Eagles still have more firepower on offense and we're struggling to score points. Nothing will change Sun. Skins drop another one at home.

Eagles 27 Skins 17
