I hate when they fake the phunk. OHHH, now its urgent to throw it beyond 5 yards b/c the half is approaching but slants and weak ass run plays against a team staccking the box is our M.O. Its never been a secret make the Skins HAVE to pass, b/c they won't. Force them to have to on their last possesion of the half or game. We need to attack b/c controlling the game and run plays is good when we have the lead or moving the ball to which we are doing neither. Arrrgggggggggggggg

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Official Game Thread
I thought the days of Mark Brunell were over. ??? Maybe they need to take a closer look at our personal. No more 2 yard pass plays. We can't even catch a break with hoping for a penalty downfield to move the chains if the ball isnt thrown down field.
I thought the Steelers game would have taught us a lesson, when matched against a good run defense YOU DONT RUN RUN to get into the game to open the pass its the reverse OPEN THE PASS UP, spread the field then, RUN. Play calling has to reflect that. Although, in Zorn's defense they have to catch the ball. The Giants are converting 3rd Downs scoring TD's in our house so obviously it can be done, rain isn't a factor.

Something I do see in the stat column on NFL.com, is that Hall had another Int? Maybe this guy is ready to play ball again?

He did have one stupid late hit call, but I think Hall is Redskin material. I wanna see him back next year, especially since we never know whether Springs wants to play or not.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Official Game Thread
I like the way Hall has been playing. He is a step above Smoot in man to man coverage as was evident on the first drive. I would think we will try to ink him at the end of the year to stick around for awhile.

He should teach our corners how to lose those hands made of bricks too.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Official Game Thread
Offseason priority #1-Special teams upgrade at K and PR, Suisham is just not making the cut and we can't afford to leave points on the field.

I don't think any team ever makes a kicker their #1 priority.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Official Game Thread
There you go. Forcing that punt was just what we needed to open the half.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Official Game Thread
the Jets took that OHio St kicker in the 2nd round one year though, maybe the Raiders too with Jano. but yeah, FA ought to yield someone. The Ravens have 2 1 for leg and 1 for accuracy if we did that SS would still be out of contention.
I wish I could go back in time and learn to kick professionally, its the easiest posistion
