Re: Skins @ Birds Gameday thread
Week 8 and I've already given up on the division and now have to move on to monitoring every NFC team for Wild Card.
Eagles went from nothing to 6-1. When was the last time we were ever 6-1 or close to it? So annoying that other teams take these big leaps, and our big leap is going 17-14-1 over 2 years.

Re: Skins @ Birds Gameday thread
You nailed it!! The front office is to blame for all this. We can't let Both top WR'S go at same time, failure to recognize if we do that we need a stud RB and we don't get it. The whole Cousins situation reminds me of something the cleveland Browns would do. Factor in just plain bad luck with the injuries and we are 8-8 at best and go into off season without a QB (Cousins is leaving and can't wait to get away from this mess..) The Eagles are the real deal with maybe best young QB in league Dallas has a good QB situation..what do we have long term? Thanks Front office! Am I wrong ??

Re: Skins @ Birds Gameday thread
I honestly think Cousins is the best QB we've had in forever, and if we had signed him when he was affordable, than this team would have had a real shot at a title or two, but at this point even if we sign him long term we won't be able to build a team around him that is good enough to beat Wentz and quite possibly Prescott. We would have a better chance building depth on our lines and getting some WRs and a RB, and having a serviceable veteran that is affordable until we find another young QB with talent.

Re: Skins @ Birds Gameday thread
Bottom line is Wentz really was the difference last night. He broke our defense. Swearinger for all his leadership got exposed. He can't cover at all. Neither can Foster.
Also Gruden sucked last night, as he did at the end of the SF game. He didn't do anything to stop the 3rd down blitz. It was like he wasn't expecting it at all. Why are doing drop back plays on 3rd and 1? Did we throw one deep pass to the wr's? Pryor may be useless but he's big and tall. Give him and Doc some jump balls. Maybe you get some PI's. |

Re: Skins @ Birds Gameday thread
People keep complaining about Garçon and Jackson being gone. I’m complaining about Ike Hilliard not developing our young WR’s, need a better WR coach.

Re: Skins @ Birds Gameday thread
Ryan fucking Grant is not a starter and Pryor is a free agent bust...we need to move on from both.
We need a starting RB...Rob Kelly is nice, so is Perine but both are not starters.

Re: Skins @ Birds Gameday thread
I echo the frustration - the Eagles trade up to two and get what appears to be a MVP candidate by his second season. We trade up to two and get a fraud.
We never get to make the leap. It's disheartening. Eagles are the real deal and figure to be so until Wentz gets an extension and it gets hard to pay everybody. Until then they're a force to be reckoned with.

Re: Skins @ Birds Gameday thread
You are right, Grant is not a starter but is the best option at WR right now. He’s been responsible for 2 of our wins. We need a new WR coach to develop people like Pryor, Doctson and Crowder, a Torian Gray for WR’s.

Re: Skins @ Birds Gameday thread
I think this says a lot.
https://twitter.com/JReidESPN/status/922684364458250246 @JReidESPN Look, Jay isn't Walsh or Lombardi, but he knows offense. If Jay is sitting Pryor and Pryor is healthy, it's because Pryor can't do it. @JReidESPN Pryor thing is a problem. Front office didn't do Kirk any favors. If you're gonna let Garçon and Jackson walk, gotta get him a proven guy. Pryor was a huge mistake. That's the norm with this team. Huge mistakes. I guess the positive in this is that he was only signed for a 1 year deal. At least we've got that going for us.

We never will as long as Bruce and Danny are here. Get use to it.

Why can't we have our receivers play to or above expectations the way Dunbar and Nicholson (and Moreau to a certain extend) have ?!
