wow... suprising move the Chargers taking Michael Turner... this guy has some serious potential.. there were even a couple of scouting reports comparing him to Bo Jackson! Tomlinson needed a backup I guess... too bad for the kid he isn't going somewhere he'd get a shot...

was hoping for DL help too with #151 but I'm not sure this means we're getting rid of Samuels or anybody else
Wilson's not too big and looks like the kind of Olineman that will move to Guard in the nfl

Not big? he's 6'7" 315lbs with a lot of room for growth, he's a good pass blocker but has weakness at run blocking, this kid is defiently a tackle, 1 site that I read say's he could be a super steal, and he was moving up draft board's close to the draft, he's a converted TE, need's work but that's why you draft a guy who doesn't have to start right away, so he can work and grow, he has good feet, sound's like a good aquisition in the long run.

They must be thinking about getting rid of Samuels, bacuae Bugel was raving about how they have great depth at o-line during mini-camp.

I tell you what guys, it looks like we actually did some scouting this year. Im impressed with out three picks. The first was easy, but the second two actually look like they have potential to develope and shine in the system.

Guess any DL help will come in the form of rookie free agents!

Well we just draftes to project's, I wonder what the long term plan is?

j. molinaro 6'6" 308lbs. a converted D-lineman, has a big upside, but has limited expierience at O-tackle.

Anyone else sniffing a Samuels trade? Stockpiling OT's says to me we are either going to trade them (unlikely) or are considering the possibility of losing Samuels. A DE available somewhere by any chance?

We def. are going to lose Samuels in my opnion, these two picks are evidence of that. Synder has screwed our cap and where not gonna be able to absorbe samuels cap hit after this year, and i don't think we'll have the cash to extend his contract. Way to go danny boy
Could be get a GM please.

They dont have to indicate that Samuels is going to be gone. Fiore is most likely gone, so we needed some depth on the line. And in the event that Sameuls does leave next year it will help to have some olinemen that learned under Samuels and Bugel for a year.I think Samuels will end up having a good year this year and will rework his contract. He'll get like an 8 year deal and a 15-20 millino dollar signing bonus to spread out the deal.

Gotta sy the O linemen are supprising but both look to have or be able to develop the physical skills needed to at least be decent depth especially the the opportunity to work with bugel in the next couple years
