I'm waiting to hear how we can't win with JC at qb. No int's for the 2nd straight game and an audible that went for a huge score. Awesome job #17!

Play of the game right there. He did a great job at staying alive and keeping his focus down the field and topped it off with a great throw.

Re: Redskins vs. Saints game thread

see i guess keep running it up the middle on short and they put 8-10 in the box ... great call. i think even if we didnt make it , a fg attemp.. would have put them in great field position if missed at that long. a punt might not have given any better position.. so was a ballsy call but good.. i think if they hadnt put 8 in the box they would have called a to and punted probably.. but its moot and a W is a W.. and feels great............ Please let this be JC's break out game in Zorn's WCO! Now, he can play with some confidence!

Re: Redskins vs. Saints game thread

I don't think Campbell looked any more comfortable than he did on last Thursday, but he succeeded for two main reasons:

1) We exploited a key matchup in the Saints secondary over and over again.

2) The offensive line dominated the entire game.

It's amazing what we can accomplish when we dominate up front and Campbell has time to pick them to pieces. It wasn't just in that fourth quarter either. The OL dominated the ENTIRE game. Campbell just found his rhythm around the fourth quarter.

True, it's a team effort and often we get too focused on just the QB.

He can't read the D, he's not smart enough, he locks on to one receiver, put in Colt.....

It's one game, but Zorn, JC, and the entire offense took steps forward today. Great day for Skins fans. Great day for those who told the knee-jerk crowd to be patient.
