I guess i was trying to say there were alot more believers in RG3 coming out of college then willis.

Also who do you know Willis hasn't hit his prime. Did you you check his prime meter? lol

Willis plays for Liberty. I think if he played for Baylor in a power 5 conference the hype would be more RG-3’ish.

Re: 2022 veteran QB options

The knock on Willis is he is a one read and run type of QB. Sure he can make the wow plays but in the NFL we all know QB's either make or break themselves on 3rd down. Can he be coached up to go through his reads? Can he set protections? He'll have to master this stuff because at Liberty it is clear he didn't have to. He could just out athlete everyone. The game I watched against Ole Miss he and their team were a bit overwhelmed.

IDK.. about Willis. I think a lot of us see RG3 all over again, although this kid seems a lot more humble and coachable. But this is the kind of guy that might get the fans excited again. Boom or bust pick for sure. I tend to think he won't make it if he is drafted here. A team like Pittsburgh where it is a stable organization would give him a better shot.

He isn’t the best decision maker, but he has an amazing arm and skill set. I personally think that the poor decision making is more of him knowing he is the best player on the field (at Liberty) and probably getting a little cocky thinking he can do anything he wants. To your point I believe he is high character, humble, coachable, and will absolutely understand he is in the NFL and cant just beat people based on his skill set alone.

Wonder what we would have to give up? Im fine with Chase, our first this year (who would be a quarterback anyway) and next years first. If somehow we could send them Sweat instead id be giddy.

It'll be 2 first no doubt, hopefully that is it though

And as I said, it comes down to where you go and play. If he is drafted here and Ron goes 6-11 or worse he'll be fired. New coaching staff comes in and is forced to work w/ a QB they may not want. We have seen this w/ Gruden/RG3, Ron w/ Haskins, Norv/Jeff George, Shanahan/McNabb. Dan just can't help himself to fuck things up w/ the Qb's. This will be a graveyard for young QB's. Jason Campbell had a new offense every year. You can't win doing that shit.

I am hoping like a lot of fans that Dan is once and for all flushed down the toilet of NFL ownership. This is the best chance to get rid of this loser.

Another list....

Ranking ten viable veteran QB options for Washington

https://www.hogshaven.com/2022/2/25/...for-washington

My gut tells me when it's all said and done, it's going to be Trubisky, Mariota, or Garappolo.

Prepare yourselves...

If it comes down to a 2nd rate veteran like those 3, I expect we'll draft someone high. A blah veteran does nothing to excite the fan base or sell tickets. A rookie will get fans excited.

At least if Watson comes here he will take the spotlight of Snyder … as far as I’m concerned if Watson ever plays for us then anyone good with it can be good with snyders allegations …

Rub n tugs. Hands on legs. Both sleazy as hell. No doubt.
Nobody here is good with the accusation or with Watson bein a sleaze ball.
But it isn’t the reason we want Snyder gone. We wanted him gone for 20 years.
Watson can come here and help us win and hopefully is done bein a sleaze ball?
Again, in no way defending eithers alleged actions, at all, but I just see the two situations in a different light.
Snyder was a piece of shit that got caught being sleazy, and we hope that is his downfall because of decades of bullshit.
Watson was a sleaze ball that got caught being sleazy. If he comes here i would hope he has changed his ways. There is no changing ways for Dan.
Now, if I knew for a fact that there was sexual assault or something more than a mutual rub n tug agreement i would say fuck him and he belongs in jail.
With Dan, I want him gone whether that lady is lying or not.
Am I making sense? It’s hard sometimes to translate thoughts to posts. Lol.

Re: 2022 veteran QB options

You make sense to me.

I don't think anyone wants to bring a sexual predator here to be the savior at QB. There's a difference between being a sleaze ball and being a sexual predator. Unfortunately, we don't know if either DS or DW are sleaze balls, or if they are legit sexual predators, willing to use their money and influence to take advantage of women. Which is why I will reserve my thoughts on DW coming here until his legal situation plays out - completely.

Right now he's not on my list of QBs I'm willing to deal for. I may have a package in mind, but am in no way ready to make the phone call.

Definitely. No way the team should try to trade for him until EVERY CASE is legally finalized. And the league makes a decision on his suspension. If he has to miss all of next year too, I'd pass regardless of anything else.

Prepare yourselves...
Where they rank

Mitchell Trubisky - No, he is a dud.

Marcus Mariota - Possibly, if he is a bridge to a promising rookie.

Deshaun Watson - Don't the Commanders have enough of a sleazy reputation already? No.

Jimmy Garoppolo - Sure, why not? We could try to mimic the SF offense.

Teddy Bridgewater - Come on, man! This is a serious topic. No.

Carson Wentz - He's done. He's a choker with the leadership qualities of a dead fish.

Jameis Winston - OK, now we're talking about someone who can play QB! A qualified maybe, only because he has been hurt so much.

Russell Wilson - Yes, please! We could contend with him at QB.

Tua Tagovailoa - No. He hasn't developed very well, IMO.

Aaron Rodgers - He can pick where he goes and it won't be here. So, there is no chance.

So, my list would look like this:

1. Russell Wilson - by a mile!
2. Jimmy Garappolo
3. Marcus Mariota
4. Jameis Winston
