Predict the 2013 53 Man Opening Day Roster

This is a good looking roster. I have a few comments and questions.

I could see keeping two QB's because Grossman could be cut and no other team would pick him up, so the Skins could bring him back at any time, if he were needed. On the other hand, who would be the emergency QB?

I question whether Thompson or Helu can stay healthy. I also think Jamison would be more capable of carrying the load on 1st and 2nd down then they would be. We might keep Jamison to give Morris a breather. Who is the backup FB?

Devery Henderson

No real argument here. I like Henderson more than most fans do. I wonder if the Skins might be tempted to go with only 5 WR's because they could run a two TE offense with the athletic hybrids they have.

I'll say that Niles Paul is kept over a 6th WR. With Zo gone, we can't afford to cut good ST players.

Brace backs up at DE until Carriker can return. Then, Nield is cut in favor of Brace because of Brace's ability to play two positions.

[Rob Jackson makes the team, but is on the suspsended list for the first four games. I think the skins will cut Tapp to make room for Jackson, unless another player is injured by then]

Kehl makes sense to me, as well, because he is a ST ace.

I'm at 52 players not including the suspended Rob Jackson. I think the 53 player is either Niles Paul or a 3rd QB. I could easily see Shanahan gamble with 2 QBs, even with Griffin coming off an injury, just because Shanahan is confident (or cocky to some) like that. Niles Paul isn't good, but he's versatile (TE/WR/ H-Back/KR/ST standout). I guess gun to my head I think Paul makes it.
