He's been the primary backup but he obviously hadn't locked it down (no pun intended) so much that they didn't bring in two veterans in Pashos and Trueblood to compete. If anyone is a lock it's Polumbus.. He got a two year deal and is the returning starter. Hurt, Pashos and Trueblood may be battling for that one spot.

Except that Hurt also plays guard. I don't think Pashos or Trueblood do. That's why I think Hurt makes the 53. He's pretty much the first guy off the bench at any position except center.
