Re: College Gameday!
Looks like USC had no problem tonight. On the other hand Tennessee barely squeaked by, and Boise State was destroyed by Georgia. I thought Georgia might win, but to hold the Broncos to just 13 points is remarkable

Re: College Gameday!
Yeah, that Georgia game was a surprise to me too... I think Georgia may be the cream of the SEC crop this year (although the pundits overrated the Volsw). Shockley looks like the man right now.

Re: College Gameday!
Georgia was a suprise to me, but the biggest suprise had to be.... Ol' Notre Dame. Man alive did they look good, against a decent Pittsburgh team. We'll find out next week vs Michigan if they are really any good, but I was highly impressed.

Is it just me or is anyone else watching no name college football games and Iron Chef to pass the time until Sunday?

Re: College Gameday!
Longhorns looked really good, but they were going against a horrid horrid team, so i'm not sure that counts.
Vick jr. looks like his brother... his first game starting was like 10/22 110passing, 9 for 58rushing, 1TD (mike's first game was 50% accuracy 108passing, 54 rushing, 3 TDs) *numbers are close, but not 100% gauranteed |

Re: College Gameday!
Next weekend, Fall starts...College Football Saturdays followed by NFL Sundays. Lazy weekends are on the horizon!
Saw bits and pieces of different games this weekend. Surprised by TCU beating a hapless Oklahoma team. Saw the shootout between Wisconsin and Bowling Green (Omar Jacobs for Heisman). Missed the one game I really wanted to see in Maryland/Navy (was at the Nats/Phillies 12 inning debacle). Was it me, or did Miami and Florida State both look like shit last night?
