Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 3.0
I don't like Mike Wise, but he drilled Florio good a few years ago on the radio. He reminds of a terrible version of Pete Vecsey...

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 3.0
well, this rgiii whining is still better than the pat white is our next future HoF QB crap we would have had if RG3 wasn't here.
so i can live with it, the alternative could be a lot worse. |

Normally not the type who takes pleasure in arguing back at people on twitter but the Eskin report was too easy. He is the Donovan McNabb of reporting, using RGIIIs fame to make himself relevant

I saw Moss, Thompson, Dawson, Crawford to name a few working on formations no contact so I couldn't really say. Burdette can't really say remember seeing his jersey but dont remember a bad or good play. Forgot to type this London Fletcher looks good got 2 INT over the middle, on one of them he pulled from the WR's hands (I believe Dawson). Last edited by NYCskinfan82; 08-18-2013 at 05:48 PM. |

I hope kickoffs is either Dawson or Thompson. I really dont like Paul back there at all.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 3.0
I'm hoping it's Dawson. But I don't want him to be on the roster if the only way he's going to contribute is returning kicks. He needs to add something to the passing game too. If he can't, then I'll be happy with Niles Paul back there; he was solid after he took over.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 3.0
I would Rather Dawson. No one fears Paul back there.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 3.0
With KO's being moved up 5 yards and the NFL seeming like they would rather do without them, we need whoever it is to be able to play on offense. No more of the days of a KO return specialist. Thats becoming a waste of a roster spot.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 3.0
agreed. Plus I think our offense should be potent enough that a simply solid returner will give us consistent starting field position, and if we need happen to need a spark you put Crawford, Hall, or Moss back there.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 3.0
As long as the returner can consistently get around 20-25 yards a return and doesn't fumble it away, I'll be satisfied. I would rather have a solid, consistent returner than a guy who averages over 30 yards a return, but you can't trust to hang on to the ball. Also, I'm not worried about the position at all; at the very least we'll have Niles Paul again, who had a decent 21.8 average.
