I think our D will be fine on obvious passing downs b/c of the plethora of pass rushers we can bring. I feel pretty confident that we can really get pressure with just the front four creatively used in those situations -> Rak, Kerrigan, Tapp, Jenkins, Jackson, Bowen and Cofield create a lot of options for rushing the QB while dropping into coverage.

Our base defense, however, may have problems stopping short and intermediate routes. Isolating Fletcher and the CB's in that short flats and middle would be my goal as an O-Coordinator - grab 4-5 yards there on first or second down to keep the 3rd Down package off the field.

For teams incapable of staying out of obvious passing downs, we could have a fearsome defense.
