Once upon a time I really wanted us to draft Ponder. I was wrong.

Re: Around the NFL-Week 1

The odd thing is that Ponder's strengths in college were his accuracy and his decision smarts. In those pros, those traits have proven to be weaknesses.

Re: Around the NFL-Week 1

I know at one time we were thinking about Jake Locker...that dude effing blows too. Ponder or Locker would have sucked. Thank god for RG3 and Cousins (and P-Dub)

Personally, I don't think they suck, but I also don't buy the hype of them being SB contenders. Especially now after seeing the 49ers beat a very good Packers team (again).

Looking at their schedule, they should be able to have a winning a record with games against St. Louis (twice), Arizona (twice), Jacksonville, Minnesota, Tampa Bay and Tennessee; not to mention their ridiculous home field advantage.

Seattle has a chance to live up to the hype next week when they play SF at home.

Carolina has a top 10 defense

Wow, what a bunch of BS. They should just admit that they screwed up the call and that's it.
I actually agree with what they said and I think its more to counter what GB fans are trying to say. They can't blame the bad call on their not winning the game is what the NFL seems to be pointing out.

Seattle vs San Fran has quickly turned into a rivalry especially since Harbaugh and Carroll hated each other in the pac 10. Its cant miss tv now. And when its a rivaliry, anything can happen

Well to be fair. Snyder didn't want Sanchez nearly as much as Cerrato did. And Cerrato didn't want Cutler nearly as much as Snyder did. And neither wanted to keep Chase Daniel (sigh...I still miss him) as much as I did

At least Chase got his ring in New Orleans.
