And clearly what happened (in hindsight) is Florida didn't develop him. Kudos to the Redskins for seeing that (and maybe with some inside info courtesy Urban Meyer) and jumping at the opportunity to turn Reed into a young star in this league.

That's how you win in this league. If this is how they operated all the time, I would believe in this coaching staff.
