Yeah, that's a bit disconcerting. Really all we have now are four receivers. One of whom (Thrash) will be sharing return duties, and another (Jacobs) who has yet to prove he can be healthy on a consistent basis. That leaves us really thin. Do we call up Parson? Bring back Dyson maybe?

But I'm also wondering is this just a temporary roster move? I mean they sign Nick Novak to a contract because Hall is hurt. But Hall isn't put on IR and we have a bye week next week. So Brown is released so we can add a kicker for this week. In a week or two, we cut Novak and resign Brown provided he's still available. It's a gamble, and not the smartest one in my opinion, but I suppose it's possible
