That's what I was thinking. Other than Moss and Gronk, he's never had top tier talent around him. Wes Welker was on his 3rd team by the time he came to be on the Patriots(was primarily a return specialist) and they molded him into the epitome of the perfect slot receiver. This season Manning has an arguably more talented defense, has 3 top 10-15 wrs, and one of the best home field advantage stadiums in the league and only had one more win.
They are both great QB's but I'd take being lead to 5 Super Bowls and winning 3 of them than 2 Super Bowls and winning one.
