Apparently fans are taking this link as gospel and feel like the NFL is somehow going to retroactively rescind the suspensions of Welker/Gordon even though they were suspended under the current rules, and lost their appeals.

Here is the problem with that. What about the other players suspended this year and the past. Are they going to go back and rescind their suspensions and give them their pay back?

JR, you are the attorney here, would the NFL open themselves up to a lawsuits from past/present players if they did retroactively rescind the suspensions of Welker/Gordon, who's punishment occurred under the current rules and not any future ones?
