If your parents scarred you when you were four than I am sorry for you. There is a HUGE difference between getting spanked and getting beat. AP beat his child. I got spanked. My daughter has been spanked. So if indeed you got "spanked" like you said u need to edit your post.

I said if someone thinks that abuse is the correct way to discipline someone for not listening, screwing up, whatever - than I wonder how that person would feel getting beat with a stick on their back or legs or ass the next time they brake a rule at work or dont meet a deadline?
