I believe in the wait and see what our coaches can do mentality. The D went from what #8 (I think) to #23, just from losing two DT's? No, A LOT of it was coaching (or lack of with Edwards). I think Williams and Blache and co. will have us back at least close to the top 10 again.

I think Memphis has it right: the crucial thing for this D-line is to stop the run. We got absolutely run over at times last year. Giffen, Daniels, and Barrow MUST keep us out of 2nd- and 3rd-and-short every time like last year. If teams are in 3rd-and-longs, we can bring the blitz and employ our speed and aggression. But if Hambrick can run for 180, were in real trouble.
The new coaches are lightyears ahead of Edwards in terms of experience and know-how. I figure they'll get the most out of this bunch, and free up our real play makers (Lavar, Washington, Taylor) to change the game.

I agree with Daseal...Wynn definitely can do alot better with, better coaching.. He does get us some semi-consistent pressure but usually misses sacks by a thread..(and got a couple of half-sacks because of Big Bruce playing clean up..haha) and remember he had more tackles than any other defensive lineman last year which shows u one thing if not a lot of things...He fills his role...but of course there is always room for improvement... I think with the few other upgrades to the defense, as well as a new D-Coordinator, the defense will be a whole lot better!!

yea he said that the beer isnt anygood, but that its just somethign we both have to do if we are going to be at a steelers game. Yuengling and Rolling Rock are both PA beers, and both quite tasty. But if he says we gotta drink it, then thats enough peer pressure for me to get drunk and cheer for the Skins.

I think the additions of Daniels and Griffin as well as the hopeful return of Noble will at least help give the line some depth. Because now you'll have specialists/reserves like Zellner, Upshaw and Hailey playing at key moments instead of forcing them out there longer than they need to be
