Did you see the cushion our CB's give every week (automatic 1st down to the opposing WR's everyweek). That's on the coaches. Larry Fitzgerald just happen to have his best stats today despite not doing shit all year, yeah let's blame it on the rookies and Amerson being hurt. Where was the pressure? Arizona pressured all day with BACKUPS!!

2nd Half Drives:
WSH: 6 plays, 21 yds - PUNT
AZ: 14 plays, 69 yds - FIELD GOAL
WSH: 3 plays, 6 yds - PUNT
AZ: 8 plays, 39 yds - FIELD GOAL
WSH: 1 play, 14 yds - FUMBLE
AZ: 6 plays, 8 yds - FIELD GOAL
WSH: 4 plays, 33 yds - INTERCEPTION
AZ: 6 plays, 11 yds - PUNT
WSH: 4 plays, 47 yds - INTERCEPTION
AZ: 3 plays, -5 yds - PUNT
WSH: 4 plays, 64 yds - TOUCHDOWN
AZ: 3 plays, 0 yds - PUNT
WSH: 1 play, 0 yds - INTERCEPTION RETURNED FOR TD
WSH: 1 play, 16 yds - END OF GAME

The defense held Arizona to three fields (one of them off turnovers), held Arizona to three punts in the fourth quarter, but our offense couldn't muster anything but a late TD. I don't see how anyone can pin this solely on our defense.

Hell, with the way our offense sucks, any defense can play well against them.

The offense doesn't get a pass and should also be blamed, Jackson could be blamed for one INT for stopping, Cousins is basically a rookie (8thor 9th game starting?). I'll give McVay a pass for now since he is a rookie. Haslett's D has no excuses, did you see the Seattle game how Wilson was running around? It took Haslett a whole quarter to adjust and then got burned in the end.

Yeah but we're not talking about the Seattle game, in which there were plenty of times when the offense did not capitalize on key stops (see Roberts dropped pass in the first drive of the second half).

I'm sorry but your "f*ck Haz no matter what" is borderline childish. All the loses have been team loses, with both the offense and defense sharing the blame.

And the offense should not be given a pass, as they were playing against a banged up defense as you pointed out.

Why don't we ask people here how many want Haslett gone? A change is needed.

And I'm one of them. But that alone is not going to fix the problems we have on both side of the ball.

You talk like firing Haslett is the cure all for this team. Especially after a game where the offense did the most to lose the game.

Why did the Redskins lose today. To quote my favorite uncle.

"Cause losers lose son, that's what they do, they lose." "Losers lose."

New HC/OC - so its hard to want them gone after 6 games. With the lack of talent on D I think the DC becomes more important. Hell anybody could coach the 85 Bears. We need someone to make lemonade outta these lemons. Get the most out of it possible. Haz aint the guy. It certainly wont cure our QB problem, or our horrible ST's, but its a start. And like I said the rest of the staff has only bern stinking it up a few weeks, not a few years. So thats why Haz should get shown the door first imo.

It's a start and something that should have done 2 years ago.
