the problem on D is pretty straight forward imo. we are idiots.

we heavily invested in pass rush at the expense of the secondary. we went all in on the pass rush banking on the fact that it would cover up our secondary deficiencies.

sans the jags game, every QB has posted a QBR above 100 on us and I dont think offensive coordinators are having much trouble dissecting haslett's schemes and tendencies.

$21.6 mil = avg NFL team salary for DL
$26.5 = redskins salary

$15 mil = avg NFL team salary for LB
$23 = redskins salary

$12.3 mil = nfl avg for corners
$7.8 = redskins corners (highest cap hit is tracy porter at 2.8)

$8.2 mil = nfl avg for safeties
$3.7 = redskins (highest merriweather at 1)
