The Crazy Dallas Guy!
I hope everyone reads the thread that was posted with a link to a site for Dallas fans. There was a post by this guy who said the skins win was complete luck and that dallas won no matter what the score was.
I found that to be the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. If you think about it there really is no luck in the game. If there is luck your telling me that Mark Brunnell is lucky to be in the NFL and Santana Moss is lucky to have speed. Mark Brunnell was lucky to throw either of those balls right into the hands of a striding Moss who was lucky to score on each catch. There was no lucky involved in the outcome of the game. But, if he gets happy by justifying the LOSS on luck good for him. We beat Dallas with talent and determination. In a football game, two teams play each other and the better team usually wins. This game was just another example of this. I can't wait until December!! Hail to the Redskins! Last edited by Sheriff Gonna Getcha; 09-24-2005 at 01:37 PM. |

That guy needs to lay off the drugs....seriously! The Immaculate Reception" was luck....I'm sorry our win against Dallas doesn't quit fall into that category!

Re: The Crazy Dallas Guy!
Especially because there were two in a row.
Luck is when the ball pops out in the end zone and lands back in your hands or a team mates and they are just standing around in the end zone. That's luck. I think the better word is execution. |

Re: The Crazy Dallas Guy!
Before we beat this guy up too badly, let's all try to remember how we felt after Dallas and the refs "stole" the game last year. We got beat for 55 minutes this time and that's a hard pill to swallow for Dallas fans. If it's any consolation to them, they'll never get over it or used to it. That's what's kept me going for the past few years.

Re: The Crazy Dallas Guy!
the refs stole it from us game one, game two they beat us. No way the refs were as bad this game than they were the first game last year

Re: The Crazy Dallas Guy!
Like the song says:
"Fight on, fight on til you have won...." Dallas is "lucky" we didn't figure out we had a passing game until the final few minutes. At that pace we would have won 710-13. Besides, all of sports is 50% luck and 50% skill. Lucky if you have no injuries. Lucky if the official sees more plays your way. Lucky if you win the coin toss. My excommunicated brother (a Dallas fan) is the same way. All I've heard this week is how Washington only played 2 minutes of football--not that they needed any more. Dallas fans tend to forget that our defense kept the offense in the game. That our special teams stopped a certain score with a kicker for crying out loud. And most of all, they forget that however they went about it, our offense scored 14 points while theirs could only get 13. The W-L column is the only one that counts toward playoff seeding. So just do like I do...smile and hum "Hail to the Redskins". |

Re: The Crazy Dallas Guy!
At least he understands psychological warfare in the sense that Parcells spoke of after the loss. This loss could linger on for the Cowbitches if they don't shake it off and the way this fan sees it is to not accept the undeniable truth. Our undeniable truth is we have a deep pass threat just like Philly. Let's get Thrash and Pattern involved in some patterns that will allow them to stretch the field and watch Dallas,Philly and New York this week from the sidelines.

Re: The Crazy Dallas Guy!
well Dallas won, but i can't see how they didn't come away with that victory with even more doubts. not after how philly blasted SF just last week.
Dallas is shaken.

That nut can call it whatever he wants but he will call it a loss every time he talks about also. Of course it was not Roy boy Williams fault either.

Re: The Crazy Dallas Guy!
Its not luck. Did you guys see Dallas get beat on another long one today by the 49ers? I think it was B. Loyd. 89 yards for the score. Face it Dallas fans, your team is suceptable to the long ball!
