I have slightly more hope with Kirk/Colt over Rex/Becks...but not much

That's the problem though man. We can't afford to go after a QB right now. We have what appears to be two serviceable QB's on this team. What we don't have is safeties, LB's, pass rush, depth at CB or O line.

I could be wrong, but I think Colt and Kirk are a better option than Rex and Beck. Not by a large margin, but I do think they are better as a whole. I don't see this team making the playoffs next year, so why bother adding another QB? Ride out what we have, make improvements else where and try for a QB in the following offseason, or even in the 2016 offseason.

Systematic failure. The only person (who's not the team owner) who's overseen RG this whole time is Bruce. You would think he's getting the stink eye from Snyder these days...

I'd have no problem moving forward with McCoy, KC and bring in another guy to compete. Both have shown they can move the offense under this system.

This makes perfect sense. The only way for the franchise to hit a new low is to trade RG3 to a team like Arizona where he can get proper coaching and learn for a year or two before taking over and leading them to a Super Bowl.

It will be a rebirth similar to what Steve Young had in SF after leaving TB.

So who is ballsy enough to try to coach him up?
Sean Payton maybe?

Might as well at least hang onto RGIII next year; he is under contract, cheap and has the potential to be a super star. Plus they way this team drafts; extra draft picks are never a sure thing.
Right now, what does Griffin do better than Colt?

RG3 would struggle in Arians offense. Doubt he'd trade for him.

rg3 will garner a ton of interest. a ton. but im sure bruce will get out-GM'ed and let him go for a 4th. Which is crazy because we held on to Kirk for a second, but wont do the same for RG3.

Makes zero sense. None.

Poor move to trade RG3. Extremely poor

I would say the fresh start is what will make him a late bloomer. Getting away from the madness of D.C. may cure what ails him. We have all been there for that needed rebirth it just stinks that if it does occur it will come at the Skins expense.

We're still in the 2014 season and you're already sure we'll only get a 4th for him?

Burns my britches too.
I'd say 80% of this board concurs.

he cant throw the ball farther than 40 yds and cant put enough zip on the ball on out routes to avoid a corner stepping in front for an int.

the dude's arm is such a liability. i dont see how we can call every passing play in the book bc colt cant make every throw in the book.

im pretty sure in 1 play against the colts, colt saw d jax behind the secondary but he hesitated and didnt pull the trigger bc he didnt have confidence in his arm strength.

give RG3 more time to study and develop. correct kirk's panic mode. let colt stick around if rg3 and kirk dont improve.

RG3 could very well win the starter job next PS. i think he needs to open himself up to criticism and take a deep look inside himself to accept his limitations then work like hell on them. .. and any alleged hurt feelings btw him and gruden need to be squashed.

He can throw the ball farther than McCoy can, and run read option better. That's pretty much it right now.

agreed. RG3 needs to make himself the best possible student he can be right now. he has the tools, i 100% believe he can be taught and learn to see the field. in his 3rd NFL season i just dont think he has every really tried to learn yet.

if he doesnt have a fire lit under his ass now, he never will.

Re: Expectations for the rest of the season...

The frustration level with RG3 is high within the building, it's pretty high with Kirk too but Gruden and co. feel that's correctable.

Hoping cooler heads prevail as far as RG3 and they see the mistake they could be making in letting him go (even in a trade), but this has been progressively getting worse.

And once he's lost the support of Dan, there's little turning back. Not saying he's lost Dan's support but Snyder's no longer "standing on the table" for him

I suspect as well that the team knows it needs to make a choice "Rob or Kirk" and while Rob won't get you as much as you traded for him, he'll get you a lot more than Kirk

I'd say maybe a couple teams would have him come in to compete to be a starter. Maybe the Jets, Buffalo and Tampa. I'd say there would be a few teams that would like him as a back up...Dallas, Seattle and SF.

Remember, every team now has seen the tape of him playing below average the last two years, plus all the drama that comes with it. Dallas would be the perfect landing spot for him.
