That would be Ian Rapoport's "serious buyer's remorse" report, though a "tearful" Kromer "adamantly denied" making the buyer's remorse comments. Whatever Kromer did or didn't exactly say, it's a stunning admission, and indicative of Raiders/Redskins-level dysfunction in Chicago. It's appearing less and less likely that coach Marc Trestman is going to keep his job. Not only has his defense collapsed, but his once-prolific offense has bordered on unwatchable many times over the past 5-6 weeks. Kromer's unprofessional act is going to earn him sideways glances the next time he's looking for a job.

To me, its a disgrace that an OC would be a source for the media. He should be fired immediately.

It sounds like he WANTS to be fired so he can escape a mess.

Amazing: NFL teams spend gobs of money and dedicated time trying to build teams, only to watch them melt down because of the human ego and personality clashes. This situation says a lot about human nature.
