I don't see how anybody can condone trying to purposely hurt a teammate. What if somebody breaks a hand or something else and misses games?

I like seeing this. Didn't think there was anyone on the 53 man roster who cared enough to get in a fight. I like Breeland even more now.

.....not very familiar with team sports?
Not a matter of condoning...it is a adrenaline fueled testosterone fest every minute of every day. Things will get out of hand occasionally....

Yep. When you're bad sometimes you need a little attitude. Rex Ryan's Jets beat some good teams in their playoff runs as huge underdogs by playing with a chip on their shoulder.

I like it.

Loved the attitude from the first Dallas game. (Will need more than that in the 2nd after film study of our blitzes.)

That being said, I totally reserve the right to change my mind and be hypocritical if someone gets hurt in one of these brawls.

I played team sports, quite a few years ago. If fights broke out the combatants ended up running laps, it was highly discouraged.

Re: Fight at Redskins practice today

Pretty f-ing stupid, one thing if the guys were wrestling around after a play or throwing body blows with helmets on, but to drop helmets and start going at it...completely idiotic.

I coached HS football for a few years, if guys got going it was always an immediate thing after a play and with full gear on. We'd let them go for 15-20 secs or so and then stop it. Then they'd both be running.

NEVER would let helmets/pads come off and a fight start.
