Most Relevant Redskins on Google
So I did a quick Google search today on my phone for 'Redskins' to see the latest results from Google News which are usually at the top of a lot of searches when I notice a little box under the news section titled Roster which displayed the following.
A lot of rosters are ordered by position with QB's many times listed first so I kind of figured that was how this was arranged, but then, totally not overthinking this I realize that in no way are the names Robert Griffin III, Colt McCoy, and Kirk Cousins alphabetical. Well I thought perhaps it was done by number so I decided to do a Google search on other teams to confirm starting with the Detroit Lions. Again I can't stress how much I am not overthinking this. Hmmm, well maybe its just a fluke. Certainly Google is not ordering the roster section of these searches to include the most relevant players in terms of search results for all teams. We must test further (seriously I am not overthinking this). Alright this is not looking good, perhaps we need to investigate further. Great, so as it turns out the 2 most relevant members of the Redskins roster besides RG3 in the world of online search is not guys like Trent Williams, Ryan Kerrigan, Alfred Morris, or DeSean Jackson. Nope, it's our second and third string QB's. PS I am not overthinking this.
