People who after you have spent 3 hours digging out you cars, and front walk and driveway and in front of "your own" house, park in the spot you just cleaned out because they are too effing lazy!!!

Put up 2 lawn chairs and a polite sign saying "Hi neighbor, I spent 3 hours digging my car out of this spot. Please respect the chairs as my spot saver. In a day or two I will remove the chairs once 'reserving spots' is not needed. Thanks."

The polite sign is key. Leaves no room for "misinterpretation".

At this point the only thing I still really like about living in the city is that I can get to work from my front door to my desk in 15 minutes. That is a significant quality of life thing for me. I do have great neighbors and a generally nice neighborhood.

However, pretty much everything else about living in Baltimore City grinds my gears.

In the world of sub- divisions and Cul-de-sacs I hate to say even with a drive way these problems exist if you have more than one car and one must go to work while the other gets a snow day .
