seattle.

re chester and orakpo - at this point, i trust Scot's eye for skill set and Bruce's executive approach to negotiating. have to wait and see how the contracts look.

while we hoped for more from Rak, he is still an above average player that just hasnt seemed to progress or improve as a player under Haz Mat. I love that quote he had when he was mic'd up "what are we doing out there? i dont know what we are doing out there!"

maybe Rak could benefit from better coaching?

Chester, even though I would perfer not to bring him back, I understand bringing him back cause we don't have shit behind him.

Hopefully Chester's deal is the vet min.

How much will McCourty cost? He is the one UFA I would be willing to spend some money on. After that, a solid blocking TE.

As much as I may get crucified for this, if Rak can be brought back for a reasonable price, I am all for it. Then, draft Shelton at 5.

He's been here 6 years. He is what he is at this point. I remember last year when they were bringing in a OLB coach that specialized in pass rush moves. It was suppose to help Rak and he had one sack in 7 games.

I guess I don't have a major problem with him coming back at the right price. There really isn't anyone else out there that's better. Rak's a pro and a good dude but he's just never going to be a great player.

I'd pass on overpaying McCourty. I know we need a FS badly but he's not a difference making type of player. I hope we don't sign him.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Murphy is a strong guy and all but he has 0 pass rush. No explosiveness coming off the edge. Rak is a better pass rusher than Murphy but not sure that's saying too much.

Good catch.

Since he only plays 3/4 of the games in a season, he should get 3/4 of a paycheck.
