2015 Draft Prospects... First Edition

Wow, well if SmootSmack is saying that RGIII is likely to be moved this year, then it does make me consider the possibilities of some deal with San Diego. I have always been high on Phillip Rivers. To me, he's one of the elite quarterbacks in the league. To grab him AND still have a 1st round pick would be great. The 'skins are likely to trade down anyway.

However, if the Chargers are wanting Marcus Mariota, I just don't see how he falls in the 'skins lap? I would assume they'd have to do whatever they could to jump up to at least the #2 spot. But if he does fall to #5, the Redskins need to either take him, or trade that pick to the Chargers for Phillip Rivers. I'd prefer to roll with Rivers, still have a first round pick at #17, which is still a possibility for the 'skins to trade down and pick up more draft picks.

If this scenario were to happen, I would not be upset in the least. Well, except for having to stare at the #10 jersey that my wife gave me for Christmas back in 2012.
