It's a story because Tom Brady and the Patriots denied and lied about all of it, which we now find out wasn't true. I think Goodell even said himself that lying about issues to investigators would bring even a swifter punishment than the actual matter at hand.


Tom Brady nut huggers like to excuse him from everything, including things that get others suspended. (aka..lying to investigators)
