Kirk may have made a leap, but we won't really know until the season gets going. I still expect him to throw a lot of picks. I'll be pleasantly surprised if he doesn't. I can see with my eyes that he has great mastery of the offense, he hits the top of the drop and the ball comes out aggressively. If he does cut down the picks that will mean we're playing some winning football, and that will make Gruden look like a genius. But who knows what Kirk will do. All we do know for sure is that Robert still looks like shit. He hesitates, doesn't know where to go with the ball, can't read things fast enough, and gets himself demolished. The way I see it, starting Robert means we're guaranteed to suck. Kirk at least gives you half a chance.

Re: Cousins to start 2015 Season
Well you heard Gruden say that he took a big leap going from year one to two. Apparently they were going to let KC play with the first team offense (in Baltimore) whether Griffin was healthy or not. I just think it came down to he just beat out Griffin. And I think McCoy has also beat out Griffin. He is the 3rd best QB on the roster. Tough for people to admit but it's true.

Re: Cousins to start 2015 Season
For me, the hiring of Scot M. really was a watershed event for this franchise. It got me looking forward to the future of my favorite football team. I want all of this RGIII stuff to be in our review mirror as soon as possible so I can forget about it.

It really does. Winning makes all the non-football stuff irrelevant, which was part of my point in that speech a page back. When you don't win, it matters.

ROFL. A little side tracked on this....but since Dianna Russini dropped the RG3 story, I found this fitting. Scott's wife dropping the bomb on her.

Re: Cousins to start 2015 Season
A great response would be, "Mrs. McCloughan -- please ask your husband. Perhaps he kept count."
Actually, I fully expect someone to tweet that an intern actually posted that comment.

Re: Cousins to start 2015 Season
I think this might be actually his wife. The ESPN article about McCloughan a while back mentioned having a fiancee named Jess.
