Cutting Griffin doesn't add up in a logical fashion though to the training camp talk.
All that 'the staff is behind Griffin' catering the offense to him is rendered false or tepid at best. 1 quarter/ 8 drop back in the Lions game then bam a complete 180 to the point of wanting him off the team altogether?
Doesn't add up.

Ask him to rework the contract if he wants to stick around.

I think this first time something my mom used to say applies...don't cut off your nose to spite your face.
