Re: Around the NFL- Week 2

A Romo & Dez-less Cowboys team, even if just for a few months certainly changes the dynamic of the NFC East.

Now, 2 weeks is too soon to make final judgments on any team however, being honest with what the eye-test says thus far? We can compete with these teams. We might not be as good or have as good a record as them at the end of the season, but can anyone really say that The Eagles, Cowboys, Giants look that much better? In fact I'd say two of them are trending downward, while the Cowboys are not going to be the same team without their QB and #1 WR.

Suddenly this division looks up for grabs.

I knew Romo would get injured this year. He's too fragile at this point. The Cowpukes need to start looking for there next QB, I doubt it's Weeden, maybe they start looking at Griffin?

Absolutely.. fortunately the Rams didn't beat the guys up. I'm thinking they should be able to make a short turn around this week. It sucks to have to play a division opponent 4 days after a game though. At least our guys will be upbeat while the Giants are going to have trouble mentally preparing for this game. I think we have the edge.

Re: Around the NFL- Week 2

Wow, the Eagles can't feel too good about themselves. The defense only gave up 2 FG's to the Dallas offense, yet they can't find a way to turn the momentum of the game to their favor even after Romo exits the game, and Bradford's 2nd INT just now likely has sealed the game.

Is that it? I would've thought that was a 10-12 week injury.. I need a sports doctor.

Re: Around the NFL- Week 2

When Romo broke his clavicle in 2010 he was done for the season, but it also happened in Week 7 and I believe it was on his throwing side. This time it is only Week 2 and on his non-throwing side.

Still, as of yet there is no official recovery time specified.

Re: Around the NFL- Week 2

So lets see...i was completely wrong about Bradford. He stinks. Sorry Okie. Anyway the Eagles look like shit. The Cowboys just lost Romo. The Giants look halfway decent but seem to have just completely lost their minds. The Redskins just made mincemeat out of the Rams vaunted front 7. My how things can change from week to week.
