They looked like crap against Dallas. Got those three turnovers or it would have been over before it was over. They did look good against Atlanta.

And maybe that's another reason why the Redskins are 3 point underdogs. The turnover edge. The Giants have been more opportunistic with turnovers.

This is a winnable game - if we don't beat ourselves with turnovers and penalties. Sundays win was good for KC, I don't think he had an INT. Jones needs to show he isn't a tumbler because the Giants will be trying hard to force strips and fumbles.

Its also a big test for Gruden because last year he didn't have the team ready to play at all on Thursday night

Still... the real experts are from the betting/gambling industry. It's interesting to see from week to week how many they guess right, down to the point - even factoring in the 3 points.

While most NFL analysts from the media were picking the Rams last week to destroy the Redskins mainly because of the RAMS defensive line matchup with the Redskins- the Redskins were favored in the betting line.

Which is why I think the new coaches are huge. Callahan is among the best if not the best OL coach in the game. Anyone is an upgrade over Hazmat, he was just toxic (pun intended). Having Cavanaugh means he doesnt have to be tied to the QB's as much as he was last year. Gruden improving the coaching staff has already paid off, and hopefully, it will continue to do so.

I'm really looking forward to this game. Not only because it's primetime and all that but also because it's a great test. These are the games you either prove you're a new team with a new attitude who won't get pushed around anymore. Or you get pushed around on National Television for the whole country to see that, you're still the same team that gets pushed around.

For better or worse we should have a good idea of who this team is moving forward after this game.

Well it becomes less diluted after I see it on the field. Or more diluted.... Something.

It is - it is. But... The Eagles along with several other teams on our schedule suddenly do not appear so...formidable. At all.

Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants

Redskins should win they are a pretty balanced team all around while the Giants have NO defense (none) ,the offense I believe will find their stride somewhere down the road I just don't think it will be this game.As I have always said strange things happen in NFC East games ,be it the Eli screw up in Dallas or the Chit fest that was the Eagles /Cowboys game something strange always happens.
