Is this really what Gibbs and the coaches are all about? Is Gibbs and co. getting off on benching Arrington just for the sake of benching a superstar??

I don't think this is about anybody's ego at all.

If anything this is all about discipline and the message that it sends the rest of the team, that it doesn't matter what your paycheck is or what your past history is, you have to earn your playing time right now and practice the way you play, and apparently LaVar isn't doing this.
